Retired US Army Field Artillery Officer, with over 26 years of total service, including overseas tours of duty in Germany (twice), Vietnam and South Korea, and CONUS tours in Missouri, Oklahoma (twice), North Carolina, Michigan, and Washington.
Retired Sr. Project Manager, Requirements Analyst, SQL Database Developer and Administrator, and Sr. Technical Writer for technology firms such as Pixelworks, Maxtor NAS Operations, Excite@Home International, along with a plethora of startup firms that were eventually bought up by larger firms.
Retired political consultant, campaign manager, and general political hack, with a 6:1 margin of victory in local elections.
Retired teacher/instructor of economics, accounting, database design and management, English (ESOL), technical writing for both consumer and technical customers, and
And If that's not enough . . .
Owner and Publisher of a small town weekly newspaper - which I lost in one of my several divorces!
Stockbroker for regional brokerage firm which ended up in Wells Fargo.
CFO-CIO for a St. Louis based LTL and local area cartage carrier.
Part-Time Private Chaffeur - When times got really hard….
I have lived in very many locations, and tried many different avocations.
I have been successful in some endeavours and not so successful in others.
At times, I have made a lot of money, while during other periods I have endured without friends or funds.
I have made many mistakes - some were actually quite HUGE...
Yet, I survived and I learned and above all, I grew - perhaps moreso in the bad times.
And while I might like to go back an 'change' some things, I wouldn't want the final outcome to be any different.
I have never been one to 'stand outside the fire'.
I truly Love Life....
