As firms downsized, and jobs were lost to 'overseas' resources, it became more and more difficult to secure adequate employment in Silicon Valley (or anywhere else in the US for that matter) during the 2002 - 2004 time period. Many people blame GW for the 'outsourcing' but it actually started long before he came along. Although I do believe he could have done much more to help the 2.2 million Americans who lost their job on his watch (like extending unemployment benefits - It's the Economy Stupid) ........
Structural economic change has been gradually altering the American economic environment for many years, so get ready for some massive changes America. Because as Bob Dylan once said, "the times they are a changin"....

I finally awoke to these facts and took the hint. I 'outsourced' myself in the late summer of 2004. To find out how I got here, and about my experiences in China, follow this link.
